This course is also available at a distance via audioconferencing. Analysis of concepts and procedures for helping adults learn. Emphasis on the teaching-learning transactions that encourage and assist adults in their learning activities. As a result of this course, each participant should be better able to:
1. Understand and appreciate the range and variety of tasks entailed in effectively helping adults learn
2. Know about and learn how to locate major scholarly and professional writings aboutfacilitating learning for adults
3. Plan and conduct learning activities for adults
4. Analyze and strengthen aspects of continuing education teaching and learning
5. Analyze and develop strategies for resolving issues regarding helping adults learn
