The ICTR Client Services Center welcomes you to our home in Suite 2112 of the Health Science Learning Center (HSLC), located near the Ebling Library in space generously supported by the Marshfield Clinic, a major ICTR partner. To serve as a welcoming and capable conduit to a variety of research-related resources and services and to provide educational, training and career development opportunities, the ICTR Client Services Center staff operates as a team to support multiple research endeavors. Team member expertise reflects a broad array of skill sets, including understanding the broader mission, goals and priorities of campus research. A commitment to exceptional customer service provides an opportunity to personalize client consultations while also encouraging and facilitating interactions among the Center's various components.

Who Can Use the Client Services Center?

The Client Services Center team welcomes anyone who seeks information about available ICTR services and referrals for assistance. Telephone, email and/or in person consultations are available, and applications for ICTR membership are encouraged.

Our Mission:
We deliver resources and services that facilitate the design, implementation, dissemination and translation of research effecting practical improvements in human health. Our activities occur in an environment that values and fosters authentic and respectful partnerships, collaborative learning, and interdisciplinary perspectives among all staff and clients.

ICTR Ambassadors	Our Research Ambassadors identify colleagues with shared research interests, direct clients to ICTR resources, and assist with processing ICTR pilot project applications.

Community-Academic Partnership (CAP)	The CAP staff provides education and training, research resources and connection to lay communities in Wisconsin regarding Type 2 Translational Research, or, research that discovers the best ways to translate new and existing findings into improvements in clinical practice and community health. CAP provides mechanisms to connect UW researchers, community organizations and community clinicians and clinical practices via our staff and affiliate organizations. CAP staff also manages the Type 2 Translational Research Pilot Program.

Health Sciences Institutional Review Board (HS IRB)	The HSIRB staff review research protocols, such as clinical trials involving medical interventions or procedures where medical expertise is required for evaluation.

Office of Clinical Trials (OCT)	The OCT Finance Manager will educate faculty research and support personnel in interpretation and application of accounting data to grant, program and shared resource management on studies administered through the OCT. Staff can also provide advice on grant management or cost accounting procedures at the request of the OCT Director or Dean's Office.

Research Education and Career Development (REC)	The REC Core administers and provides student services for the Graduate Program in Clinical Investigation, the Capstone Certificate in the Fundamentals of Clinical Research and other educational offerings such as the Short Course in Clinical Research. REC also offers training and career opportunities for graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and junior faculty through its KL2 and T32 programs.

Wisconsin Network for Health Research (WiNHR)	The Wisconsin Network for Health Research (WiNHR) staff connect investigators who want to conduct statewide clinical research with affiliated groups in Marshfield, Aurora in Milwaukee, Gundersen in LaCrosse, and Madison area clinics.

OnCore® Enterprise Research Management System (OnCore ERM)	The new OnCore ERM will handle key operational functions for clinical and translational studies, as well as regulatory, administrative, and billing functions. Plans also call for OnCore to integrate with local laboratory, hospital information, and data warehouses in Madison and with our ICTR partners.
